Become a part of the theatre that puts Montreal first! Centaur is Quebec’s leading English-language theatre company. In the past few years, Centaur has led the way in producing and presenting 17 world premieres of Montreal playwrights, has been recognized as a major force in Canadian theatre through its international initiatives, and has received numerous major awards for outstanding direction, production, acting, artistic direction and the development of new theatrical talent. As the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec duly noted, the Centaur has come to occupy “an important and vital” place in the “panorama of Quebec theatre”. By producing the works of Quebec playwrights like Michel Tremblay and François Letourneau, Centaur has “built bridges between the public and the francophone theatrical community.” We rely on the financial support of donors to be able to continue delivering high-quality theatre to our diverse community. In fact, approximately 20% of the Centaur’s operating budget comes from donors and sponsors. Donations are tax-deductible. The funds raised not only secures the financial support required to stage productions, it ensures that ticket prices are kept within reason so that all members of the community can have access to the excitement of live theatre. Your corporate giving will also provide you with some tangible benefits as outlined on this page. Dinner Party Sponsor
Your company can choose to sponsor and host one of Centaur’s popular “Dinner with Friends” dinner parties.
The fundraising evening features a sit-down dinner in our Seagram gallery, the play and a post-show reception with the cast.
